Nissan is planning not one, but two, separate events to reveal the new Nissan 370Z to a select group of gearheads ahead of its unveiling next week at the LA Auto Show. But Nissan's worst-kept secret keeps leaking out. So in addition to a handful of teasers, a few game-play screen caps and a trio of spy shots, GTRWorld has seven pics of Nissan's newest Z car out in the open.

While the new head- and tail-lamp treatments have garnered the most attention, a few elements haven't been in clear view until now. The slight indentation in the roof matches the revised hood, while the shortened hatch and new bumper eschews the outgoing model's harsh creases for a more bulbous back end. Inside, the rear strut tower brace that seriously compromised the 350Z's trunk space has been moved just aft of the doors and everything in the engine bay looks ready for production.

The door handles are really off-setting. Other than that, I think it looks great except for the "butt hole". On the original pics where it was red... it reminded me of a dogs butt (NASTY!).

The engine looks great... cant wait to see how it performs. I am wishing there was interior shots...

man everyone here is basing their opinions off sheer looks, rather than what really matters-performance. its both lighter, smaller, and more powerful than the 350z. that right there is enough to make me buy one.

that's prolly how they fukin' came up with that ugly crap. Some fat guy was eating a donut designing the 370z holding a 350z pic and smudged the headlight lenses and THERE YA GO!

I don't think i'll get it. For some reason i thought it was gonna look better than that. Now it just looks fat and stubby. Kinda like a bastard child of a z3 and 350z. The end result is an ugly fat small car. Maybe if we threw it on a treadmill to work off those extra pounds...
