I posted it in the racing stories videos thread, but since I always post SRT4 crap I find in here, figured I would let peeps know (and not many people view that thread either.

Nothin special, a WRX and SRT-4 go at it from a roll, then some talon appears out of no where, or something, I'm still tryin to figure out exactly what's goin on..

here it is again anyways..

ooh ooooh... I know the story:

i was the film guy in the wrx. here are details

"i am cam man in WRX, its a 03 and stock, has 10k miles on it. The subby got the jump on the neon, from about a 45mph roll on highway. Shut it down around 125...when the neon had us by like 4+ car lengths...gotta give props to that srt, it was just amazing how much it pulled on us.

Talon has free mods, MBC, and full exhaust.

SRT-4 Stock with only 1000 miles on it.


and FYI: even though the SRT won't be hitting Houston dealers for months, there is a sexy black one running around Westhiemer currently.... I'm waiting to hear about the kills.:cool:

Did you notice the neon was full.. (passenger wise)...

Running 4 deep...

Holy shit.....my respect for the SRT-4 just went way up. WRX is damned good.

Vic R/t lol I been wondering where you and the other neon with reversed colors from yours were at lately. Who is driving the black one in houston right now? I want to ride in it so I can brag about riding in it on the dak r/t board! Hook me up man! :thumb:

ive seen a few around my area...look nice but need a drop..haha

The owner of Modern Performance just picked it up....got it in Florida I think.

Fucking beautiful car.

Only one in H-town that I know of.

nah man ... those are probably SXTs , looks pretty similar to the SRT - but lacks about over a 100 HP and lbs of TQ compared to the real SRT.

and Wrxshop the new gen neons are so strong and reliable, you would be suprised ... just don't hate cuz you can get OwNed by a lil neon :roflmao:

Don't the new neon R/T's look similar too? (wing, dual exaust) I was looking at either that or the SXT the other day at the dealer, I don't remember which..

The new "NEON"... isnt a NEON... They dropped the Neon name I do believe... Look at the site.. Theres a section for "neon" then below it..theres a section for "SRT-4"

:) So its still not just a neon. lol

not stock it aint.

i nearly got edged out by a stock sn95 from a roll...and yes i was in the right gear.

damned ECU makes it a shitbox. it has so many restrictors on it that they are slowly uncovering.
