Yup....they sell the game alone for $40 and the game with the headset for $60.

I can't wait....hopefully there wont be only lag. I played the beta and there seemed to be an issue with the frame rates. I hope that issue has been resolved:hsrun:

never mind wrong downlod i was trying to load the game data first and it wasnt working, and then i downloaded latest update ver. 2.5....but now after the update it wont start back up again... i was having isues with this earlier this week but now it completely ended itself....god damn that sucks i was all exited that i got socom, i guess ill be out of comission for a while

They're going to add PS Trophies to the game soon. I was messing with the headset last night, only got to install and download the 1.1 patch before I passed out on the couch lol. From what I've read the game itself is smooth, unlike the beta.

lol yeah run n gun is noobish, I still do it though. SOCOMs always been about accuracy, if you spray like you're playing halo the recoil sends your gun straight up in the air, then you die.

If you notice you can hear the other team if you're close enough while theyre talking. I got into a shoot out with a guy in the beta, I was the last one on my team left and I could hear him calling out to his team of where I was.

you mean if you buy it off of PSN?

Yeah, I prefer to do that honestly, but if you do buy it off PSN you can download it on up to 5 consoles I think and play it from (what I remember was one console at a time) I think now either console you have it on.

So say you're on your bros ps3 right now, you can buy it today when its on the PSStore, download it and play it. Then when you get your PS3 back, you can log into your account, go to the PSStore, look at Downloads (your download history) and download it again on your PS3.

no they were talking about the actual game disc. Because you know when you first put the game in it shows 2 game disc icons, i guess the game data saves to your console only. I think that is what they were talking about unless i misunderstood when they were explaining, I have to look into it again.

scopes are fubared, supposedly people are saying it is aiming too high from what your crosshairs are on when you're crouched or prone

Is it just me or is this the only game where you cant just spray and constantly be aiming at one thing. I usually just get like 5 shots off at a time. You have to shoot in spurts to aim well. Maybe its just the guns I pick?

While selecting a channel sometimes theres some channels with 253 people click on it and it says Failed to connect.

Games take longer for them to start now and get stuck in prelobby for a long as time after every round ends!

Then the stupid error messages that pop up and have to click on it.

For the messages,i get them at least 2 times during my gameplay with about 5 or 6 error messages i have to click Ok to lol

That's the status from playing yesterday around 5pm so i haven't seen if they fixed this stuff already

While SOCOM: Confrontation did manage to put up some big numbers since launch day, the game's online component hasn't been without its share of problems.

To this end, SCEA Director of Development Seth Luisi has revealed that aside from rolling out server side updates to resolve the bottlenecks in the game's servers, there will also be a new client patch for client side stability issues.

The final version of the client patch should be ready for release within the next week or so, but Luisi declined to give a specific date. The patch will hopefully take care of issues such as players getting booted to the XMB and getting disconnected from specific games.

The SOCOM: Confrontation team is also working on another patch that'll enable Trophies and "address various user feedback." The priority right now is on fixing the servers and the game client, though, so the Trophies patch will only become available once the stability patch is out.

SRT8 is great other then gas mileage and stiff ride which has alot to do with the run flats.
