The Lexus IS 250 drops its top at the Mondial de l’Automobile in Paris today. Showcasing a three-piece folding aluminium top which does so in 20 seconds, the IS 250C will be available in spring 2009 in the U.S. followed by UK in the summer.

In order to accommodate the convertible configuration, only the bonnet, headlamps, door handles and mirrors have been retained compared to the IS saloon. All other body panels have been redesigned to maintain design harmony with the three-part folding roof.

Reminds me of the SC.


2 door IS doesnt really catch my eye, they already have the SC as a hart top vert.

i think its only a matter of time befofre the isf gets a coupe.

My thoughts exactly... Unless they make a new SC with more of a premium standpoint... but with the failure of the sc430 (not so hot sales)... highly doubtful

Didnt know they were killing the sc. Still not a big fan, but I never been a vertable fan anyways. Unless its a 335ci hardtop vert:eek3dance

I didn't like the concept pictures because the rear looked too wide, but the actual concept is pretty hot.
Agreed with VH, they should have used a different color.

weak sauce i like the infiniti g37 line up way better thwn this bullshit lexus has put together.
