Anyone have any recomendations on what type of car alarm to get. I would like remote start as well as the remote being the type that monitors the car. I am looking to spend up to $200 at the most for the actual alarm. I dont know how much install is, and I would like to get a siren put inside the cabin of the car and an extra kill switch. Any suggestions?

only brand i know that has something like that for that cheap may be prestiges.. unless you can get a hookup on the Clifford Matrix 4..

I think I can get the viper 790 remote start with pager for about 218...and the extra hook for 18...


prestige is an ok alarm...but it uses cheap internals...

Hey I will be seriously interested in that this summer, because thats when the money comes in so I will keep in contact via forum. But is that 218 with install and if not how much is install and when you say hook, you mean extra remote?

install on that alarm would be 150...and I ment to type horn...not hook...

prestige = audiovox. 790xv is an awesome alarm, however, i'd be afraid to buy one new for less than dealer cost...

i can get you an alarm for $170: delta pro 500 i gat one myself..its comes with 2 remotes-little moniter pager,and remote starter,shock sensor, glass sensor, and window modules.. etc. You can have you car engine started while your window rolls down or you if its armed and you window is down and your alarm goes off you window automatically rolls up. perfect alarm with perfect deal

Souns good but is that a reputable company?

its from a comp. but im just sayin compared to the vipers and cliffords this alarm is way more secure and untouchable..you rather have a pager to let you know your car is being warned by sumone rather than you trying to here your car chirping or going off not knowing sumone is taking you subs or panities in your car while your in the theatres, mall, or even at a club:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
