fps?

ok so i just got cs

intel core 2 duo 6300 @ 1.86ghz
2 gig ddr ram
160 gig/7200 rpm hd
NVIDIA GeForce 7100 GS 128mb

fps is only 60....i TINK this set up shold be able to handle more fps??
any other options i need to change?

i had it at 150-200 fps yesterday..yeah i know i dont need it that high..but i was just messing around...
and today..when i log in..it bak to 60fps...i repeated all the stuff i did yesterday again..and it stil at 60 fps..hmmm..what happened?

may also depend on the server. might just be a garbage server.

fire up your own server from the main menu, that should tell you your most at all possible fps.

na it isnt the server...i found out the problem
when i first start off cs i can get 100+ fps
but when i alt+tab out to the window screen....and i go back to CS screen...the FPS goes down to 60-70....

doesnt matter. eye can see no more than 100 fps.

oh yeah and you cant really get over 100 fps in 1.6 unless you use developer 1
