Probably not, you have to remove the tune from the previous vehicle before you can use it on another.

Yeah, I can't unlock it. May try contacting SCT directly.

"THAT" is gonna be a drag.

When you send the Xcal 2 to SCT {and pay shipping both ways) they charge you 150.00 to unlock the device.

Add the shipping 20-30.00 to the equation and you wind up almost 200.00 into the unlock service, not to mention the downtime involved
{roughly 14 days) that you are without the device.

By the time you purchase a used device,
(hopefully you didn't pay more than 100.00) then add almost 200 to it, your 300.00 into a "used" device with no warranty and you still dont have "tunes" for your car...
tunes are 75.00 and UP depending on what SCT dealer you deal with.

total, after you are all done you have spent 375ish dollars on a used device that only cost 379.00 new..and the new devices come with tunes for your car.

it "sucks" but it "is what it is" and what I posted is the gods to honest truth.

If you doubt this as being fact,
call 407.774.2447 that is SCT's direct line..and they'll give you the straight scoop which is going to be within 10.00 of what I quoted above.

The only "grey area" would be the shipping costs, every other price I quoted is "set in stone".

Hope this helps, the OP and anyone that happens to find this thread via search.
