Upgrading Turbo Internals

I was wondering if you can upgrade the internal of a journal bearing turbo to a ball bearing turbo?


If so how much? and what else can you do to upgrade the internals of a turbo?

Nope, you'd need to replace the center cartridge with a ball bearing unit.

On some journal bearing units, we can put a 360* thrust bearing in place to give better reliability.

If it's not broke, don't mess with it. ;)
