Looking around for one but not sure which would be optimal for its intended purpose. I think just a light duty 4x4 would suffice as I don't really plan on towing anything or running through the ponds but DO want something that wont get stuck too easily which is why I think a 4x4 would be better. The terrain is mostly flat grass but there are some small hills here and there and a few gravel/very hard rocky ground areas. Acreage is about 60 if that matters. If it was all flat I would try and get a banshee

Try the Honda Rancher 4x4 there awesome

The one I had long time ago, was Full-time 4x4 pretty badass, And the great thing is that there so lite, they dont bog down The Foreman I had got stuck all the time until i improved my riding skills, But im biased I like honda machines better than polaris, yamaha, suzki and artic cat.

I'm really into 4wheelers. The first time I got on a 4wheeler I couldn't get off.

I've got a Kawasaki Praire V-twin 650. 4x4 and all the goodies she's a beast. I can go over, under, and through pretty much anything :thumb: Our ranch is pretty much like you described, it's out in Brookshire. If you can find a Kawasaki Prairie for a good price I'd say buy it because it would be perfect for what you need it for. It can get the job done right when you need it to and you can make it incredibly fun when you have nothing to do.

This is down by the Brazos where we have some property.

FWD sucks.

Anyways, i love the honda recon.... the ammount of power is just rediculous.

the ranchers are fun too, just a lil less power but sill very capable.

The power is incredible. It's pretty much a 650cc motor. If you've heard of the phrase POWER ON DEMAND then get on a Prairie and you'll find out for yourself what it really means.

It's incredibly torquey, not to mention I've gotten it up to over 60mph.

Sport quads FTW. I use to race a 400EX. Damn I miss it.

i'd rather have a bruteforce over a prairie. same motor (and the bigger 750 vtwin) and it looks 100 percent better.

i'm about to buy a Arctic Cat 650H1 or may wait till the 550H1 comes out... sold my 650 Vtwin (same motor as a prairie) to my roommate.
