low fps

Sup guys i just purchased this notebook from bestbuy and i only get an average 40-50 fps. Any suggestions?

lol u think thats bad. U should see me.When I play on low settings - get 8-9FPS. I dont lag on my end though and actually play good, but when people spec me they say im laggy as hell.My ping always low also/

im just pissed i spent all this money and only get 40-50 fps, when i first got it i was getting 100 on maps like contra, mill, and strike but on d2 it stays between 40-50.

maybe the steam updates screwed with something, I notice that tends to happen, I used to average 175-200 now i'm like 180-170

yeah im gettin choke like a mofo too, maybe the video card is messed up. I didnt get the best buy warranty but i think i have a 30 day warranty.

THanks man i switched my batter pack back to high performance and i got 244 fps on the stress test. I feel really dumb thanks for your help
