Following the release of several official teasers earlier this week, new images of the 2009 Nissan Maxima have surfacing revealing the car in complete detail. Scheduled to be unveiled at this week’s New York Auto Show, Nissan’s seventh generation Maxima showcases a completely new look for the volume seller and a marked difference to the styling of Infiniti’s G35 sedan, which has been criticized of late for looking too similar to its Nissan sibling.

The new sedan will once again benefit from Nissan’s award winning VQ series of V6 engines but an all-new diesel powerplant is expected to debut towards the end of the decade. In addition to the new diesel mill, a hybrid version based on Toyota’s Synergy drive will also be available.

overall good looking car....i thought after the 4th gen, mayb 5thgen max, that nissan would f#ck up every new maxima...this one is quite nice tho:thumb:

sorry to bump an old thread, but it looks like the next gen Z will get similar head lights, and not much else looks changed (next months motortrend, out now)
