View Full Version : Anyone trying this, LifeLock?
I just enrolled a few weeks ago for me and my wife. It's 20/month and it stops pre-approved junk mail and guards against identity theft. So if someone gets a credit card or loan in your name then they call you to make sure it's really you and if for some reason they actually steal your identity then they'll pay for the lawyers and all the paperwork.

LOL, that's it? Got something that actually proves it doesn't work and they don't back their promise?

He's merely suggesting that you cancel your subscription if possible. You came here asking about it, and now you know its true colors. Just trying to help you out, bro.

I was merely trying to tell him to read before posting. And I didn't start the thread to hear from people that don't use the service. But thanks for the advice.

In the first post I said I was doing it for my wife and I. 20x12 = 240 not 120
And I said it seemed promising. Which means I'll cancel it. Only cost me 20 bucks.
Sorry if I sound rude but I wasn't looking for people to chime in with dumb posts. But thanks for the ones that posted the links.
God, act a bit more pussy hurt about it.
This just proves what I keep saying to people here about credit service companies: they are all garbage. They make people pay for common sense. Want to make sure that your identity doesn't get stolen? Secure your SSN, shred everything, don't use the same password everywhere, pay attention to where you log in, and don't give out information unless you are explicitly sure that you are giving to a correct entity. Most identity theft happens through family, friends, or dumpster diving. Keep an eye on those things and you'll be good.
