as far as i know, you cant start establishing your own credit until you are 18...at which point you are responsible for yourself.

Why would your mom go to that extreme? Please tell me she didn't do it for material things.

Start disputing everything on your credit history. After 7 years it shouldn't effect you anyway (so, 25+).

Hey Google King, that's not what he is asking about.
simply put anything that was put in his name before he turned 18 can be disputed and gotten rid of...there is no legal binding contract with someone under 18...hes not liable for it

Sorry, no. Financial transactions such as credit cards, personal loans, etc. are not legally binding if made with someone under the age of 18. Some states have laws prohibiting anyone under the age of 21 from making specified financial contracts.
They are asking of emancipated minors can establish credit, which they cannot because credit agencies are not allowed to collect data over anyone under the age of majority. Once you turn 18 all of the contracts you entered into as a minor are ratified and you are legally bound to them.
What they are talking about is a minor's right to void a contract at their discretion. A minor can void a contract by filing a lawsuit against the creditor raising their minor status in defense of the debts. But if a minor voids a contract they have to pay restitution - paying back any benefit they earned from a contract. Also, a minor cannot void a contract of "needed" items (the definition of that varies by State, in Texas it is handled on a case by case basis). A person's ability to void a contract is gone once you reach the age of majority (18 in Texas). At that point all contracts made as a minor are ratified and legally binding.
