I'll see if I can get with bubblecivic in installing some aim_texture maps or changing the rotation.

Also installing an H-I Ranking system, and fixing up the MotD to show the H-I forums in game. :P

sigh, i can't explain how apologetic i am for the lack of server administration, if i had the power i would do it myself. I agree on the following necessities.

1. Map Rotation
2. MOTD to include houston-imports
3. Better use of admin menu (map list ex.)

The reason there won't be a ranking system is because this server will be used by the official clan when playing CAL.

I'm really not seeing the level of dedication I would like to see, but hey everyones busy with school / work. That still is no excuse for the build of our server, which completely lacks fine tuning.

Good job with the server Beretta. I just got done playing with ya for a good 45 minutes. Not bad at all. How come you don't have full admin when you pay your dues? Who has the complete power of admin over the server? I thought if you pay your dues, you get full admin access?

Anyways, the only time I get on is during the night and majority of times on the weekend. Work and school pwns me. I don't get home until 5pm on the weekdays. I will be playing a lot more often to relieve stress from my daily life.

this is a misconception that needs to be laid to rest now. If anyone who donates money's goal is to get into the clan to have admin access, then this clan won't survive very long and its not for you. I say this from first hand experience. I've seen ALOT of good clans go down the shitter because of admin debates and who has what rights.

So, u guys will be in CAL next year right? I think if you guys are going to have a Pub server, you should try to have a separate server for your CAL/matches. So you don't have to change all of your configs, when you are ready to play your matches/scrims. Trust me it takes some work, our clan just started CAL this year and I really don't see how we would be able to switch back and forth as a PUB server and as a CAL server w/o it being a PITA... Just my IMO... I'll stop by your server tonight when i'm on.

I'm usually on between anywhere from 5pm - 2am on the weekdays. On the weekend, probably all day if I don't feel like going out and spending money, lol...

Yeah, Ryce (error) and I spoke together just now and we think that if this was going to be a pub server, it would be loaded with plugins and whatnot, but if it were to be loaded for CAL matches and scrims, then there would be absolutely no plugins installed whatsoever.

Big bummer. But hey, if we can get our hands on a decent 10 slot server and keeping this server, we can run both? :D

i would be more then happy to pay for a cal server (when we hit cal), to get a ranking plug in and RTV plug in (because playing office for 4 hours is not as fun as other people think)

From what time to what time? i'm usually on at 10pm to about 2am on most of the days.

Since CAL has already started, maybe just worry about the pub server for now, then when next season comes along, then get a CAL server, saves some money

:wrd: good idea, plus by the time the next CAL season comes around we should already have enough cash between the member dues pool to afford a 12 man CAL server and upgrade the pub to 20 man maybe. we have to see how this all pans out and have a talk with the other potential clan members at the LAN party.

since cal is around the corner we decided to forgo this season and prepare a nice team for next season for cal-o. better to come next year prepared than to enter this year without a decent team.
