i know most peoples really stick to one site for reasons of their own, but what site do you use?
i made an etrade account but my stepbro told me about a better site than etrade, it was cheaper on trades and has better features.

etrade has a lot of features if u plan on day trading or trading shares frequently. Scottrade works out to be around $7 a trade which is relatively cheap compared to others..

cant speak for scotttrade but it also matter how much you have in your account and etrade is constantly offering specials.
if you plan to trade actively - the power e-trade plan pro works very well for me. good features

there a few but I use Scottrade since pretty much all of my investments are at least 1 or more years. A bunch of them like PWH and ETrade give discounted trades but you have to have xxx.xx amount or do at least 1 trade per xx time period. Scottrade isn't bad at all for the price and if for some reason I can't make a deposit online, I can go to branch and do it.

I prefer etrade over scottrade. The information is better and they have a 100 free trades with certain conditions. I have yet to pay for a trade. Also, I can transfer funds from savings immediately if I need to.

I have etrade, but if you have more than 2000 dollars Zecco will give you free trades.

I have Scottrade, they never gave me any problems. 7$ @ trade isn't bad at all. I was going to go with E-trade but ended up going with Scottrade in the end. I withdrew all my money though (for now).
