Someone tell me about the new Audi's

I was on my way home driving pretty slow actually because my differential bearings are whining like a bitch. I notice this car kind of driving impatiently and I let him go but we both turned on to an empty mexican expressway. I caught up to him about a mile later, he was cruising at like 80. I noticed it was a niiice lookin new audi but the water splashing up prevented me from seeing any badges.
I got next to him hoping he'd just floor it but nothing so I just cruised ahead knowing that really pisses some people off that they got passed up (stupid Mexico drivers). So... I'm ahead by a couple car lengths and I notice he's coming up fast. I downshift to 3rd and floor it as he's passing me, he is about a car length ahead and holds it all the way up to about 130 where he brakes and then exits.
That car was pretty quick, I wish we could have got a cleaner run and start at a slower speed but either way..it made my night.

i got on audi.com to see if I could recognize the car but the a6 and a8's look too similar...it was a black sedan..looked very nice. but the taillights on both cars look so similar.

i just read on audi's website that the cars are governed at 130mph top speed, so thats probably why he let up hahaha.

hahaha shut up. I was behind him in traffic and yes the roads were wet so it was stirring up the water, especially cause the dude was speeding. I think it would have been a good race had we both started at the same time or been at a lower speed. But like I said, it was just fun, I was just curious what it was that I "hung with".

lol..i dont think he had much else to contribute to the thread except to say that I was stupid for racing in the rain. But this was a newer audi, and not a quattro i dont think...it looked just like the a6 and a8 rear ends.
