Just a quick question, we don't sell the eclipses here in australia, but i just wanted a quick comparison between the eclipse and 5th gen prelude. Like how much power does the eclipse produce, what sorta times it does ( all stock of course). Very interested in that car indeed. Any input would be great, cheers.

Owned a 98 GST and currently own a 2000 Prelude and 2001 Prelude.

I like the GST for their sheer power delivery and easy power upgrades. I hate that it's a Mitsu and the reliability sucks ass. The Prelude is a nice car to drive everyday and can be fairly quick, but it's no factory turbo car that's for sure!

Check out www.motorex.net <-This isn't the only place where we can get them but it is one of the most popular. You can see also how much we have to pay for them compared to what you can pay. The GTR isn't readily available here and has to be imported because of such strict California emmissions laws. I only wish I had the money to get one here.

*sigh*
Yeah, we all wish we had the money for one...hell two for that matter...But which Eclipse are you talking about...There's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gens....1st and 2nd have turbo versions and turbo AWD versions....3rd gens are not so lucky....4 banger or V6 are the only options. 1&2 Gens can be very quick and completely streetable. Great sleepers.
