Getaway drivers and outside lane lovers in Britain beware. The British Met Police has a teamed up with the supercar manufacturer Caparo to conceive a brand new Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV) for the future.

Capable of accelerating from a Police lay-by to 100 mph in just 5 seconds and onto a top speed of 200 mph, the Caparo T1 RRV would be deployed to hunt down car criminals within the M25.

Like everything else in the Met Police’s armory, this bespoke RRV is intended as a deterrent.

When in Britain, just check your mirrors next time you fancy breaking the speed limit!

top gear reviewed that car, it has some understeer and its really slippery at low speeds around corners, but its perfect for high speed chases since for the car to grip corners, you actually have to go faster.

Yeah but I bet it'll be retooled to handle slow bends. The one thing I'm concerned about is if Caparo has fixed the contants problems the car has had with each review.

I would run from it in a standard M3 because its floor boards would come off, it would have a fuel line failure and catch on fire by the time I got into 5th gear. :roflmao:

Most likely anything that going 200 mph would be as fragile as this vehicle so neither would be looking to make contact with the other. Besides thats not its purpose anyways its intended to be a deterrent.

it also put 7seconds (don't remember exact time) at the top of the board.. but we don't know what's on the other side of that board..
