We have been working long and hard continuing our quest to push the celebration of H-Town and Texas Sneaker Culture to the next level. After all, this is Texas, and no offense, but I dont think we need to sit around here and wait on anyone from NY, Cali, or elsewhere to come down here and show us how to throw a party. Over the last few months we looked at many venues all over Houston to find the best fit for our next event. Every one of them had their own pros and cons, and some just had owners and/or promoters straight full of bs. However I am confident that we found a venue that can help us to take our event to the next level. The Engine Room is over 6000 sq feet with a real sound system, and a real stage. Unfortunately, with growth often comes added responsibility, and this will be our first ever Summit event in which we will be asking a cover charge in order to pay off some of the man hours and expense of putting on such a large event. However, I know what its like being a sneakerhead and living shoe release to shoe release. I have worked creatively with our sponsors, new and old, to make sure that this event is the best H-Town Summit ever and well worth the money for admission!!! Please come out, represent, and support Texas Sneaker Culture!!!

What is the H-Town Sneaker Summit?
The H-Town Sneaker Summit is the longest running event of its kind in the great State of Texas. The H-Town Sneaker Summit is a Bi-Annual Event held in Houston, TX each Summer and Winter, where sneaker enthusiast from all walks of life gather to buy, sell, trade, display, and discuss rare and exclusive sneakers and clothing.

Do I need to buy a Pre-Sale Ticket to Get In The Summit?
Pre-Sale Tickets are a special bundled package made available by our main boutique sponsors; Premium Goods, and Kicks. A Pre-Sale Ticket features; One Admission, One Exclusive 15% Off Coupon for PG or Kickz, and One Raffle Ticket for the Summit. Everyone who purchased a pre-sale ticket will also have access to the express entrance line. If you are unable to get out to these retailers to buy a Pre-Sale Ticket before the Summit, Admission and Raffle Tickets will be still be sold separately at the event.

I only have a couple of shoes to sell, or trade, do I need a vendors table?
Each Attendee is allowed to bring in up to 4 pairs of shoes to buy, sell, or trade. However you will be responsible for all of your items while inside the event so we encourage you to only bring what you can handle. All items are subject to search and we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Fraud, Fake shoes, and foul business practice will not be tolerated.

Will there be any shoes or clothing for sale at the Summit?
This season we have more vendors than ever. There will be an abundance of rare and exclusive shoes, clothing, caps, etc. for sale in the event. Many of which you may not be able to find in stores. The Summit will also feature exclusive Summit merchandise and unreleased 2008 items.

What kind of Raffle Items or Free Giveaways will be at the Summit?
This season we have more Raffle Items and Free Giveaways than ever including; Shoes, Tees, Hoodies, Caps, Backpacks, Gift Cards, Magazines, CDs , Stickers, Key Chains, Posters, Pens, etc. Many of the Free Giveaways are worth the price of admission alone! And some of the Raffle Items are worth over 100 times a single raffle tickets value! Of course we are going to leave room for a few surprises. ;)

How do I get VIP service at the Summit?
VIP service is reserved for those attendees who are 21+ and request bottle service. You can start by emailing htownsneakersummit@gmail.com and tell us how many people are in your party and your bottle of choice.

the summit was pretty hollywood if u ask me. but it was far from wack. maybe b/c there wasn't a laser show, techno music, and a honda car show outside... but it was still pretty fun. a lot of work went into it... ups to kadoma and crew. support the sponsers ya digg...

We are open to all suggestions for improvement so drop them.
We had a best kicks in the house contest last time,
except I let one of the shorties pick so she could judge on appearance alone.
I really dont want it to turn into 'I got more $ than you' contest, or 'most expensive kicks' contest.
We are already planning the Summer 08 Summit for late Summer,
and The Winter Summit 09 will be our 5th Anniversary,
so we plan to go into and out of 2008 hard.
