2009 Corolla..

Yea i hate how toyota is making their toyotas and lexus counterparts look way too similar.

I always thought the camry and the es were grossly the same. The best year es was the 99 model and whichever ones were of the same body style. Looked like no other toyota made. The GS as well.

The new GS looks similar to the Avalon
The ES looks like Camry
Now the IS looks like the Corolla!

Doesn't look like an IS to me, seems like a relatively natural progression from the previous model. Still boring, and awaiting a US version of the T-Sport.

But I'm not sure about the Avalon/GS. I don't see the resemblance.

I do like how the ES looks compared to previous models. Then again, I also like this generation Camry compared to previous models as well hehe

I think that Toyota has recycled some styling cues from the IS and put it on the Corolla in the past. Like for example the front bumper of the cars pictured below.

yeah but most people who would buy an ES over a camry for example, are buying it because the service is just that much better.

take for example nissan and infiniti. at a nissan dealership, they treat you like shit. but when you go to infiniti, they treat you like you own the place. that experience alone, is enough for people to buy an ES over a camry even though they are essentially the same car.
