Was I at the same show?

This was easily the worst run show I have ever been to. It was like the guys at the end never realized that they would be reading out the throphies. two words: Mega PHONE!

As for the show, they should of organized ALL of the cars into the front area. The way it was, they had two shows going on, one in the front and one in the back. When we finally were forced to move to the front it actually became more show like because you could see the cars and actually walk from car to car.

The judges were drinking the entire time they were judging. I know I become more coherent when I drink :really?: Completely stupid. Not to mention before they read out the winners I was just chatting with the Judges and they where talking about how I should have asked them a few questions before they got high....... ARE YOU F'EN SERIOUS! JUDGES THAT GET DRUNK WHILE JUDGEING AND GETTING HIGH.....I mean seriously peeps, if I did that at my job I would be j---o----b less.

Having the awards two hours after the show was supposed to end made no sense at all.

Around 5, some trailers with drag cars that were racing that evening (no connection to the show). One almost hit one of our Audi A3s even. They came in and started parking where ever they could. WE PAID 40.00 a person and brought in 12 cars. The thought of knowing that we paid 480.00 to get pushed out of a spot that was already sub par was discusting.

The show organizers seemed to be completely surprised by them showing up and had no plan of what to do with us. If they had organized where cars were going to go before hand, this problem wouldn't have come up. But again, they were acting all lost.

Lets talk about trophies.... I tried very hard to get my guys at EuropeanAG.com to come support this show, and Underground agreed to make a VW class and a Best european class. Great.....but they did not have enough time to make the VW trophies. I'll be waiting to see if they mail out the trophies to the winners in the VW class.

Overall, a bad show.

Next year I know my guys at EuropeanAG.com will not lift a finger to supprt this show........ last years show sucked, and this one was even worse.

Glad it is over. The day started okay, but just went tumbling down towards the end.

As for the show, lots of fun but needs improvement on the organization when it comes to class arrangement, judging and awards ceremonies. Still not sure what caused the delay because it seemed like judging didn't start till 3pm. Award winners were there till 8 and some till 9 when the track turned the lights off on us. Just a suggestion to UGL, if you're gonna have an after party, you might wanna be sure the competitors get out on time. I do appreciate UGL's efforts to put on a show though.

If they needed judges who knows what to look for, I'm pretty sure we have a few people on this site who would be willing. Everyone who should have won, ended up not even placing. We finally asked for our score sheet, they couldn't even find it. But I think that was bullshit how we couldn't talk to any of the judges while they were judging. How the hell would they know what we've done to our cars?

Aside from the poor execution of the show, I had a blast. It was great hanging out with all the other crews and my Sun*works peeps.

Congrats to Ikon for getting the best team trophy.

The old owner bought the car from cali with the frontend. He has changed alot ever since he bought it. That 1 piece frontend makes it 10x to work on it.

yeah they wrote a formal apology on the other thread about what happened at the show.

Dave and the rest of the shop are all really good guys and he even was man enough to actually apologize on this forum. Now you tell me how many other shops have done bad and do the same.
