will this amp blow 2 alpine type R 12's

im gonna run them in 1 ohm mono which is 1000 watts rms for this amp please let me know

I'm assuming you got the dual 4 ohm versions?

They SHOULD be fine as long as you're responsible with the gains. I don't remember what their RMS level is (the subs) but I know 500 watts is definitely more, they'll take it but be careful.

couldn't have said it better. I've gone through 3 shitty boxes with my d and numberous subs. If you're using a generic box then that remote gain will be your friend, just don't push. it.
