Besides the tailights( which i think would look a hell of a lot better in red) the car looks amazing. I might be a little biased though since i love hatches..
STI front end> Evo front end.
What are the specs on this car?
ps. saw your car at the autox man, looks fcking hawt.

So this new STI will have nav like the new Evo X? Nice...
Given the fact that I was thinking about the MazdaSpeed3, the wagon look is slightly growing on me.

In one of the pic, the black one looks as if an Lexus RX mated with BMW X3 running on 350Z wheels.

Badass interior. If i got one here is what i'd do
-Get a new grill
-Taillights red
-Bring back the STI heritage and slap a huge WRC wing on the back.

oh yeah, four doors would make it a wagon not a hatch right?

no, hatches have smaller cargo space than a wagon (their trunk is basically the size of a car trunk that extends to the roof)
this is a hatch

Yup, a 5-door hatch.
Like the Mazda 3 or Rabbit 5-door.

my fiance said to me "dont get a VW if you value our relationship"
literally our VW drove us into so many problems that we were literally broke spending money to fix it.
As soon as we drove it out of the shop, it had another problem a week later.
Her mom had one and said we were crazy because she had no problems.
our problems started at 65k miles.
then her mom's VW hit 65k...and now it's having electrical problems.
The cars are simply not built to last a long time. I thought things had changed, but apparently not since tons of new GTi owners are reporting strange problems with their own vehicles.
All vehicles have their problems, however the bad problems are the ones that render the car undrivable, and that's precisely what we and mobil1 have experienced with VW.
A car becomes a problem when it can't get you to work on time and you almost lose your job or your life because of it's unreliable nature.
Don't get a VW. That's my opinion.

Any indication on an MSRP?
More or less than previous models? My money is on more.

pertaining to vw...i had trouble with a 2000 and 2001 vw straight out of the box.
the 2000 had electrical problems and then got totaled by someone else, the 2001 spun a bearing with 800 miles on the clock and vw didnt want to cover it under warranty, so we called it quits after that.
yes all cars have problems, they just seem to be consistent and numerous on vw.

hey everyone, thanks for the advice on VW. i think i've seen enough, and i realized that a lot of the good reviews i'd seen were from owners who hadn't had their cars for very long. bak t the drawing board i guess ahaha.
i'm looking at the wrx impreza now. i might actually just wait and see what other cars come out in the next year or so. my integra still has a lot of life in it.

the US version will not have the same seats as this one and it will have an even worse looking front end.
I could do with out the quad tip exhaust and the red interior lights under the dash.

My 03 GTI has been rock solid (40k). A coilpack went out on it but it was covered under warranty. Plus my car doesn't look like ass

As a current Sti owner I don't like the design at all the Subaru Designers must have been on Crack or some drug. Interior is great exterior reminds me of a Ford Focus but for 40K not me anytime soon.
