Apparently there are people out there willing to dish out 1.6M for a car that will get walked by a number of cars that cost much much much much less.
I think we're all wondering why the car is priced so high, there has to be a reason other than "because they can".
it must be a seriously huge ego killer for your million dollar car to get spanked by a $90k car.

because you obviously didn't pick up on the fact that the significance of this vehicle is basically that it's carbon fiber everything all the way to the chassis(with a little steel for re-enforcement).
the trb-02 for instance, ran laps times far quicker than opposition with WAY more horsepower. but for over a mill, i think that 1 or 2 hundred more ponies wouldn't have hurt.

Never been a fan of Lamborghini, and as little as I've liked them in the past, I'm losing respect I didn't know I could lose.
All these cars look exactly the same now. So they added rear window vents and made it look more angular. Not buying into the hype. As little as I like Ferrari, I'd still rather have one than one of these.
Then again, I work in a fucking restaurant. I won't be able to afford any of these cars, EVER.

Its 3680 lbs. dry. How is that light? So basically people are busting testicles over some 4000 lbs. underpowered Lamborghini that looks like a Murcielago had kittens with a horse fly? GTFO! :hsugh:

is 650hp really that little?
there are only a select few cars that would be quicker and by the time that thing gets going to going to blow by a Z06, Viper, Ford GT, F430, 599GTB pretty much everything short of a Bugatti
the selling point is that there are only 20 and im sure the owners were hand picked, while its not the same as an Enzo, its priceless to own a piece of history

Lamborghini's never been the epitome of "light," and in recent history, they have traditionally been heavier then their competition in the market.
Take a look at the Gallardo: 1520kg. Now look at the Ferrari F430: 1435kg.
Now take a look at the Ferrari 599 GTB coming in at a hefty 1612kg and the Muricielago LP640 coming in heavier at 1665kg.
The one relatively "light" Lamborghini on the Market, is the ultra expensive Superleggera, coming in at 1420kg (and it is still slower then the heavier LP640.)
You don't buy a Lamborghini because you want something light and fast.
You buy a Porsche 911 GT3 for that. :thumb:
You buy Lamborghinis for bragging rights of saying "look at me and my gigantic penis!" Errrrrr, "my Lamborghini!" :thumb:
Personally, I don't see why anyone would want to spend 1 mill on a Lamborghini, I would much rather have a McLaren F1 for that price. :thumb:

I love Lamborghini and i would buy this in a heart beat if i could. It looks crazy like all Lambos, I agree for the price it is down on power for the wieght. And yes this car is just a modified LP640, but like was stated before Lambo is probably building this car for the exclusivity, I mean they also made a $750,000 Versace edition LP640 for crying out loud and they sold out.
