Well, its not impossible and it cause some contoversies between some R7 drivers and Nissan drivers but IMO..its pretty badass. This guy, Shaun, and some other guys from FL have been dealing with the project for awhile and they did a run at the track with the following results

60' 1.933
1/8 7.605
MPH 97.64
1/4 11.721
MPH 118.34

Now, this was the 1st pass and best of the day. The car was breaking up at the top of 3rd and in 4th gear and so he backed out of the run. Later runs only got worse. As it turns out, the fuel rail bolts had backed out causing the #1 injector to intermitently pop loose and spew fuel. It is a bone stock s13 sr20det, we made a custom intake manifold and exhaust manifold, 62-1 turbo, it has made 376hp, everything under the hood we had to fabricate here.... First pass ever it went 11.7 and i had to back out of it in fourth because of some break up i am trying to get all the bugs worked out and take it to gainesville on thursday night... The goal of "Stage 1" is to run a 10.99 on a stock motor

now that is just crazy man. 10.99 on stock motor... sheesh. hope things go well. keep us updated. there are SR and RX fans here. :)
