lock sale threads

is is possible to give the seller the power to lock threads on the "for sale" forums?

reason im asking is because, somtimes the product is already sold, and the seller doent say sold on the thread so many people keep on bidding the prduct....

good idea. i asked about getting the power to lock your own thread befor, they didnt like it enough i guess but this is a good usefull thing to have.

I think it's a good idea. I kept getting e-mail's, IM's, and PM's for stuff I had already sold, even though I had already posted in the thread that the items had been sold.

i was just coming here to make a thread about this.

i am the for sale moderator at www.s2ki.com and we have always done it like this, it makes the threads drop to the bottom quickly so there aren't lingering conversations just being bumped to the top. makes the place a lot cleaner :thumb:
