Whats up everyone!? Anways, I got a question.I have a 98 civic and today I was looking at how my wiring ran through my car. I have an amp which I want to hook up but I have no idea on how to run the amp wires from the door speakers all the way to the trunk. The wires that go to the door speaker run behind the metal part(where the glass is) and runs inside a plastic covering. Any Ideas on how to set up this stuff correctly so I wont fuck up. Holla back!!

Yes, peel off the plastic covering for the time being, will give you a big ass hole to stick your hands into to work. When you're done, glue it back on.
The door wires should of course go thru the lil rubber boot somewhere between the door and the car body, right by the hinges. You'll just run the speakers out there and back to the trunk. Long ass wire, be sure you use big enough wire (if you're running fairly high power)

Do you already have speakers in the doors? I own'd a 99 civic hb, but most cars are basically the same for what you want to do.
The easiest thing to do (well for me to explain) is to run speaker wire from the harness in the back of the headunit to the amp. This way, the signals will travel from your amp, to your factory harness, and directly to your speakers via factory eletrical system. There are other ways of doing it, but thats the easiest for me to explain. If you want to know the other way, just email me at NisAznMonk@aol.com
Now if you don't have speakers in the doors already, there should already be wires pre-ran from the factory. If so, do the same as above. If not, good luck :(

in my 99 coupe there is a molex connector (similar to what plugs
in the back of you radio) on the end of the rubber boot
when i ran my wiring, i unbolted the door catch to swing it out more then i found 4 empty spaces in the connector (2 for the woofer and 2 for the tweeter) and drilled them out then i was able to get my wire through and still kept it inside the boot
make damn sure that your boot is reconnected properly to avoid water leaks

just run the speaker wire to the harnesses :) thats easy and you can run all of your stuff alongside your RCAs

if your running a fairly small amp for the speakers, that's the easiest way to go.... ur stock wiring should handle it just fine... just don't run them next to the power cable or else ur gonna end up with lots of engine noise in your speakers.... l8rz

word jigga, you dont wanna have to hear the "supercharger" sound through your highs as you accelerate haha
umm an easy fix to that problem is getting high end rca's (EXPENSIVE) or noise filters (less expensive)
