Lexus LF-A
More evidence that Lexus is tooling up to build a super car. The LF-A concept was first shown two years ago at NAIAS. This year there’s a new version with curvier surfaces and finer detailing. Those refinements give it superior aerodynamics so its 500-plus V10 engine can propel it up to a top speed of 200 mph. "The first LF-A was a pure concept, but one that we went so far as to conduct engineering analysis on," said Lexus Group Vice President and General Manager Bob Carter. "This latest concept is much closer to a vehicle that we could bring to market, and one in which we will be gauging consumer interest."

Maybe you should before saying something stupid. The LF-A is a little bit faster/more expensive than those cars. Im not saying those cars are bad, but the LF-A is gonna be in the same class with the vette, viper, and other HIGH powered sports cars.
Plus, I think the IS350 has done a good job at putting it to the 350Z/G35/RX-8(RX-8 is slow compared to the other 2 and even slower when compared to the IS350).
The new G35 is pretty sweet and probably a lil faster than the IS350, but oh well, the IS-F will put an end to that.

the LF-A is suppose to have a v10 that puts out 500hp. not even in the same class with 350Z/G35/RX-8.

Lexus is near to completing development for its first ever supercar and although top brass are remaining extremely tight-lipped on the subject, we can reveal that the new car will most likely feature a newly developed 5.0L V10 engine pumping out in excess of 500hp. We can also confirm that there will be a hybrid version, with earlier reports suggesting Lexus will use the V8 engine from the new IS-F combined with an electric motor.

I bet the hybrid version will have the most torque by far. The recent 5L V10s have revved like crazy and made over 500hp, but haven't offered much in the way of torque(well under 400lb-ft).
Even though the V8 will be smaller, the electric assistance will help a lot. I'm sure that model will appeal to a more practical segment, since not only do you 'save the environment,' but you also get more useable torque.
