I thought the SX4 was a cool little car since its all-wheel drive but dismissed it because of not very much horsepower (143 hp). Not too bad for a car that size but the all whell drive adds a considerable amount of weight. Anyway came across this article and thought hmmm... maybe some of these parts will become available on the aftermarket. Notice the FMIC. Supposedly this Thunderhill version makes 200hp and is designed to be very reliable. Its going to compete in the 25-hour Thunderhill road course.

They are selling now. Of course not the turbo version. I'm hoping they realize that all wheel drive cars are hot right now, if they turbo charge it, they could capitailze on the EVO, STI, SRT-4 market, especially the SRT-4 since the neon went bye-bye.

yeah, I know, but they don't exactly look like a sports car IMHO. The caliber is stranger looking than the neon. Once again that's opinion.

so? that sx4 looks like a crossover suv, and your trying to make it performance oriented?

It's tiny, think about the size of a Focus ZX3. I'm not trying per se to make it performance oriented, I just thought the ThunderHill version they made looks interesting. They put the turbo and wheels and stuff on it. I'd rock it with 200hp.

Agreed, that is a decent platform for a turbo and with all wheel drive could be fun given some basic mods.

Yeah it looks much larger until you see it next to something. Also it's amazing what a drop and some nice wheels can do. Take all the dumb stickers off that Thunderhill and its the same car.

The SX4 is the car leading Suzuki's introduction into WRC next season.

OOooooo. The WRC version is interesting. The styling is a little bland, but very attractive and clean none the less.
