The second part of our 2006 NOPI Nationals coverage is the actual car show. With over 300 classes, and $100,000 in prize money, the NOPI Nationals brings out vehicles from every manufacturer and from every segment. People from as far away as Canada trekked to Atlanta, GA to show off everything from a wild custom widebody NSX to pretty-in-pink Ford Mustangs. Inside the gallery, we picked out some of the good, the bad, and the downright ugly vehicles of the 2006 NOPI Nationals. Enjoy!

I always thought that Jay Laub had great direction with his cars, but I also thought final execution isn't always on par when he finishes the vehicle. I remember when he wanted to go head to head with me(car competition) at a car show. He's a cool dude though when you get to know him.

agreed,his ideas and all are nice. the end product though.....well its still nice, just needs more attention to detail.

people seem to think that when they spend gobs of money, they have a nice car. that just is never the case. DETAILS are what makes a car.not a billion dollar fortune kit with viynl covered interior parts.people will hate on this but the honda crowd seems to be building the best import cars right now. they spend the time to build custom parts, source parts that compliment each other and are very well at the detail work. now that doesnt mean ALL the guys working on them are great at building, only a select few.

there are a few guys in town building cars right now that will be a lot more impressive then a nsx with a body kit. thats for sure!:rock:

sadly yes. its actually the bumper that comes with the L-Tuned kit. one of the most sought after front bumper. factory fit and finish but more agressive. he cut out the center piece and ruined a good thing. hell the carson tuned is a replica of the L-Tuned...
