Last time I did it it was $15 or so, but took about 2 weeks for them to get it done. They send out all their B&W film.

HPI will develop your film cheaper and have it done before the end of the day. Take it there, or any of the few labs left in Houston.

Or find someone who with a dark room who is willing to develop for you. It takes about 15 minutes to process a roll of B&W. That includes prep and clean up time.

Is it the the C-41 process B/W? If not we have to send it out. I know that at wolf, its about 7.99 for a 24 roll, without prints I think its 4.50

C-41 is the type of process, to be done in store it has to be C-41, thats the chemicals we use. True black and white film does not use C-41, which means it has to be sent out to be processed.

There is black and white film that can be done with C-41, but I have heard it doesnt look as good.

You should check out the Ilford Delta film, its supposed to be one of the better b&w films.

But you can call anywhere that does pictures and ask how much it costs to send out black and white film to be processed

I think its around 7.99 for a 24 roll, but dont hold me to it. I dont price the film, our developers do that, so I really dont know exact numbers.
