yea the type r conversion is clean as hell, but if you are on a budget, i say get the front oem lip and have your sides painted also. drop it 2" and itll be clean.

oem kit
well, for a full jdm type R front conversion usually run around 2-3g depending if its fiberglass or not. Then you'll have to paint and put it on your car. so I'm ESTIMATING around 3-4g. If you have a 98+ teg, you might be able to get some money by selling your original front end. Good luck on your teg. and post up some pics if you do get the jdm ITR front end conversion

If you want something cheap and clean, go with either the OEM aero package, or what I did on my 2 door Integra....the Wings West RS Racing sports add-on kit. I personally love the WW RS kit. The only thing I don't like about the Integras styling is the front end. After the headlights, it seems to push farther back the lower you go, with the RS add-on, it brings it back out. Check it out.
since you have a 97, if i was in your position i would change out the front bumper to the 98-01 and headlights. The rear bumper can be changed too and tailights(all red). i have a set for sale if you are interested. add a oem lip to the front and slam the car, shave side moldings. it'll look clean.

Why change it to a 98-up????? It's not worth it.

They do look a little better, but for the money it would cost, it isn't worth it. The changes are just too subtle. I was actually thinking of it when I had my 95 GS-R, but decided against it.

oh yeah...i do agree about they do look better. My friend had a 98. But still it isnt worth it
The parts to change it are fairly cheap. you can find the bumpers easily. most ppl sale the bumpers after they get a body kit or something. The lights might be hard to find, but I'm thinkin you can get everything for 250 or less. i'll rather upgrade to the 98+ bumpers and lights rather than throwing on a bodykit. Just my opinion though.
