just playin round tonight. it was crunch time for another auto forum im on, subject was food. what do yall think?

could use more depth of field, image looks kind of dull over all. i've only had to take a "product" pic one time, and i just used a white piece of paper and went outside and used natural lighting and got this

try it out =] helps if the weather is cloudy also

yeah i remember those pics and they looked really good. even though i think they look "okay", mine sucked pretty hard when it came down to it. lighting owns me. at least the subject of lighting.

i tried stopping down to 1.8 but it seemed like a bunch of the o's were just too blurry... didnt look right imo. maybe ill try again some other time.

did you use like, matte/printer paper or glossy? i was going to use printer paper but it seemed too small so all i had was this glossy paper from the back of a calendar.

nice. more light and DOF next round. and add something to it. maybe a spoon off to the side or a fruit loop mixed in...something that makes me think. right now im not thinking, all i see is a boring bowl of cereal.

word dude. some people suggested a spoon and some o's scattered around... also a banana or even milk being poured in... wish i woulda thought of all that before i ate it!!!!
