exactly i dont mean to be rude, but like mike said there is a difference. everyone is getting good cameras now a days and now that they can produce halfway decent snaps, a lot of them think that they are special and should be photographers. this doesnt mean this is you, just an observation ive made.

when i make photos i want people to look at them years later and say man thats a good photo for the photo's sake, not say "hey remember when kimbo came to our BBQ!!!"

I appreciate your opinion, but now what can I do to make my skills to be a lot better?

I like the first shot. Nice compositon and kind of tells a story. That's pretty much what I would suggest you do when you take photos. Catch the moment and tell a story. The first one is candid and really shows what's going on. The rest, however, I agree look like snapshots. There's no real composition, nothing is being told, just random shots that were taken with little or no thought, at least none that I can see. The last one is a nice portrait, but I would have composed it better and make sure the face was in focus, and not the shirtsleeve in the corner. I think you need to master you skills with the camera first and foremost. Know all your settings, then work on your vision and purpose in photography. Always shoot with a purpose, don't randomly snap things and expect it to be good! Good luck.

I like the 1st 1 the best. It's kinda humorous. the ones with the girls in them I think would be better if you cut out all the extra space around them. I like the ducks too, but kinda a lot of commotion going on so I don't always look at the ducks.
