External Hardrives for photographs

since im starting my photo business. im in heavy need of a new external harddrive... ive used up about 300 already.. im lookin at the LaCie 600GB usb 2.0 or the Seagate 750GB usb 2.0 i get the LaCie with my employee discount for $275 and the Seagate i think in the $350 range.. any input you guys could give me on this? thx

either sounds like a good deal. i have the 120GB WD from costco. its perfect for travelling and it doesnt require an external power source.

the lacies are excellent. i have a 400gig seagate external and an 80gig compact for traveling with the mac.

well, ill try and post as soon as i reformat my pics.. most are in raw format.. as to what i do, event.. ive done a wedding, ive done many bartmitsfah's (horrible spelling error sorry) but i know i am not the best... but practice makes better... def you guys take better pics than i do!!
