You're working with a nice camera.

I enjoy diagonal angles every once in a while, but I just don't get into them like it seems so many of my fellow ameature contemporaries do.

This is my personal favorite. I like the tonal quality of the image, although I feel his shirt is a bit too hot.

Nice job!

those pics look pretty good.

i have a question. is it possible to add contrast to a pic without owning the white colors? the reason that i ask is that sometimes i add contrast to a pic but then the white totally gets drowned out. what i mean is that if you look at the first pic, his white shirt is just all white. you can't see any of the wrinkles anymore which is due to raising the contrast i believe. i like adding a bit of contrast to pics but when the wrinkles in a white shirt get removed due to adding contrast, i feel like the pic looks too fake or postprocessed.

Try using multiple layers and erasing or masking the parts you want to keep.

Anyways, nice pics you COPY CATTER. j/k I like #1 the best, then #4. I wish you did more full length shots. Those are like all close cropped headshots.

Try selective color. Selective color works wonders.

why would anyone wanna copy you, your pictures suck. Wanna be photographer/model should be your user title.

just because you buy a dslr, you automatically assume you're a pro photographer now. you sure talk like you know it all yapping this and that but you sound like a damn fool. It just makes me laugh. look at you trying to offer advice like you're some damn professional designer. you obviously try way too hard to be what you never will become. Some advice for you, chill out, step back, and quit talking like you're the queen of photography. Your work is nothing to wow about. So quit trying to sound like you're better than everyone else. You're like a janitor trying to offer advice like you're a lawyer or something. lol...

don't take this to heart, i was joking anyways...

lol commmmonnn guysssssss...

the whites are all blown out, the color tweaking is a bit much, the second photo is misfocused and the although i like the first photo, there is a lamp coming out of his head...same with the last one and the street signs.

good luck on future shoots.

I don't see the problem in offerng advice if it might work.

I don't know who you are and I don't know where you're getting these ideas about me but thanks <33

currently shooting with a nikon d50 coupled with the 50mm f/1.8 for those pics. I'm investing in a 85mm f/1.4 soon. thanks for the compliment!

I saw the dude first... not the light. I saw the dude first because his color is the brightest thing in the image... my eye tends to roam through colors, not object placement. Strange? Idno, maybe!
