what lenses do you currently own? And which of those do you use the most.
In addition, what do you pro's suggest is good to have in your bag?
for my d70 i have: the kit lens 18-70, 50mm 1.8, and 70-300 ED
for the d50: 18-55, and 70-300

i have used a 70-200 mm IS and non-IS.. i couldnt tell you the difference. but then again, i wasnt shooting anything fast. it might work better for sports photos.

hey hott Toddy. opinion on 17-40L? also considering 15mm fish.
also, do you know how well those proggys work for the fisheyes?...the whole image manipulation thing a ma jigger that removes the fisheye effect?

the 24-70 gets much better reviews.
go to www.fredmiranda.com to read some reviews from, mainly, credible people.
i need something wider. my 24mm ain't cutting it.

how about the 10-20?
price is cheaper, faster, and can use reg filters.
i'm under the assumption that the 12-24 is priced more becuase of picture quality....
