Still got 10 more days so eh. I still prefer Canon lol, however, I do like the D200's. I shoot with those for weddings and with nice Nikon glass, I now hate my XT.

I'm scaring myself.

havent heard much but 4.5 fps is def nice, thats about the only downfall i see in my d70 as of now, 3fps

of course the d200 is better. its like comparing the d70 to the d200. how can you really compare them? totally different price ranges too.

the d80 seems to be better than the d70 or d50.

only bad thing is it's going to use the D200's sensor...which means, HIGH NOISE. Therefore, I still don't think it will be competition for the 30D for most shooters. oh, and it only uses SD Media cards...no more Compact Flash. So everyone that has invested in CF and wants to switch to the D80 have wasted their money. But besides these points, it's an EXCELLENT successor to the D70s which is based on 8 year old sensor technology.

i think 4.5 is what they thought it was gonna be but once it was released it was only 3

played with it a little bit, body is too small for my liking(almost the same as the d50) but the lcd is pretty friggin big

me neither. besdies the fact the long time cf users can't use their cf mc ofr it. other than that i dunno why you guys hate on it.

a lot of pros ONLY use CF simply because they dont get lost as easily lol. id have to agree. i use both though.

because i already have cf cardzz and would have to buy new ones therefore increasing the price of the d80 to a person trying to upgrade from a d70 (not that i'd upgrade anyways).

its not really that much of an upgrade from a d70(s) imo

and yeah, i don't need to update my camera, i use photoshop to stay on level with all the newer cameras hahah :D yay
