Attn: Anyone interested in Automotive Photography

For those interested, there is a new website that is aimed at professional automotive and motorsports photographers, not unlike Sports Shooter is for sports photographers. Its called Automotive Photographers Network and is http://www.automotivephoto.net (http://www.automotivephoto.net/).


Hopefully it will grow and be able to become a nice network for pros and advanced amateurs that make their livings and/or seriously shoot cars for a living. Amateurs are welcome of course, but it is meant to be aimed at serious photography, so its not going to be a place for just anyone to post their latest attempt at a rolling shot. But if you want to come and learn from those that do it for a living, you are more than welcome to come.

We are encouraging folks who want to learn techniques to post up your current photos for critique. Remember, these guys are here to help you and make you a better photographer, so please accept the constructive criticism.

PLEASE REGISTER WITH YOUR REAL NAME ON THE COMMUNITY. THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL BOARD AND WE WANT TO KEEP IT CONSISTANT WITH REAL NAMES.

It will be free, but there are also some paid options that will provide additional features and benefits.

Thanks... the site is pretty new so its just getting ramped up. There are quite a few very helpful and knowledgable people on there already, so don't be afraid to post. I've benefitted quite a bit from having these guys to learn from.

Nah, these guys are all really helpful. They know if they turn into elitist pricks, John will kick them back down to reality. He's one of the best and most well known there is... and he really likes helping people. :) He keeps people in check.
