how long does it take to activate a SN?

I had a friend that signed up for a name here (ShamPoo). and he did this yesterday, but he still up to now, hasn't received an email to activate his account. I also signed up for a different name, and I too, havent received an email. How long does this process take? Oh and i did PM aznwood, but no reply yet.
