Therefor, it's nice to have a replica from that era.

I dont see how this would affect Rota that much. If it did...then half the wheel industry would be out of business soon. Prices would be driven through the roof as manufacturers would be able to charge whatever they wanted now.

I am not really a fan of knock-off wheels (those that are an EXACT replica) but there are so many wheel designs out there that its hard to be original and still have a good looking wheel.

Rota would not be the only wheel company in Jeopardy here though either.

What about things like intakes and exhausts? There are only so many options that each car can have. Cold Air, Short Ram, Cat-Back etc etc etc.

This will only affect those companies who make EXACT replicas of products and try to pass them off as the real deal. ie. vendors who sell knock-off Jordan, LV, Gucci, etc. products and say they're legit when knowing for a fact that theyre not. This will not affect Rota for they are a real company who have licensing for their products. They may have products that have striking resemblence to previous products like Advan, Volks etc. but all they have to do is change one little detail and everything is all good. But if they were to say that it were real Advan then that would be a different story. For example the company A Bathing Ape(Bape) everyone knows that the blueprint for those shoes are the Nike Air Force 1's but all he did was change up the patented swoosh logo and instead replaced it with his own logo; a star. Nike has yet to sue the guy because they know for a fact that they will hold up in court because its not an EXACT replica of the shoes and because hes not trying to pass them as Nikes. I guess Rota would be what it is to the rims business as to what Bape is to the shoe game. Make sense..?
