looking to get into the hotshot service. want to know will a f350 do and were to get 40 foot gooseneck? also i know this may be the wrong area but were to find f350 drw powerstroke used ? also do i need a cdl to pull 40 foot trailer? if so what kind a,b,c,d? and what are yalls thoughts on the business?

Yes, a F-350 will do. As far a the truck and trailer, look in the papers. I'm not sure about the CDL, but I think you do. You will also have to have a DOT #. Hit some of the Diesel sites I posted and ask around there. Allot of guys over there do it, they will have better info.

yea i dont know about comercial stuff like that, but as far as licenses go i know you can pull a trailer as long as the total length isnt over 65ft. But if you are doing it comercially then it may change things up.

You dont need a cdl. Dont get a ford though. Get a light weight 2wd, 2 door High way truck with a flat bed..... cough.. Dodge...cough Thats what I use

do you run hot shot? and you dont run a diesel?
i thought about a flat bed because the to hitch can be hidden plus i could do either trailer or not
also if you are in the business can you share some info on it?

No its a diesel.. I dont really hot shot know people that do.. But I have pulled big tralers and made some delivery's
