Concept photo of E90 M3

This is just a concept by a publication(not what it probably will end up looking like), but I thought it looked pretty damn good. Supposedly the car will be offered in a coupe and sedan form(like the E36 M3), and as its well known with a 4.0L or 4.2L V8 making around 400hp.

whats the difference between e90 and e92?
BMW has started splitting up the different models into different engineering designations. The E90 is the 3 series sedan, where as the E92 will apparently be the M3 coupe. They used to all fall into the same engineering designation, but had an additional number to identify the exact model(the Z3 was an E36/7 for example, but still was identified as an E36 like the 92-99 3 series)

The M3's V8 is supposed to be about 4L. BMW will allegedly just lop off two cylinders from the M5's 5L V10, and there you go. The M3 should have about 400hp, and there will be a CSL version with 450hp.

Although I absolutely love the red one, it looks just TOO aggressive (if possible) for a production car. Looks great, but won't be that crazy.

the black one though, definitely doable.

I want to see the back. that's where the train wrecks. (although cgi's and spyshots of the e90 coupes have seemed to turn out better than the saloons look now).

LOL I am sure they do, why build a body/suspention without knowing what the weight of the engine/drivetrain is going to be?

BMW knows what thier doing, this is proven with looking at previous/current M3's.
