what are your thoughts on the new FJ, wether what you read, heard or whatever?
looking for opinions, wether they are good or bad.

If you want to go rock crawling dont get a new car. But aside from that the new FJ should be nice, Dont let the whole "rubicon tested" thing trick you though, it doesnt mean that much. Compared to other stock 4x4s its quite nice but youre not gonna wanna scratch it. Get an old FJ40 if you can, those are sweet and fun to beat up

i would love to get an old FJ40, but hard to come by. i love my tacoma, but am looking to upgrade, or maybe i should just use that money on my tacoma and call it a day :)

You know... When the Tundra first came out, I was very happy knowing Toyota produced their first full-size truck. But instead of immediately purchasing one (end of '99), I waited a few years to get most of the bugs worked out (sept. of '03). My point is I'd wait at least a year to see how well this vehicle will perform in it's debut. It could end up getting 2007's Motor Trend SUV of the year... who knows? My tundra performs flawlessly and I don't doubt the FJ will do the same. Heck, the FJ is doing very well currently by looking at some of the pics...
