Do you guys think we should have a section

For serious topics where we can discuss:

Politics, Laws, current affairs, etc

should we have a separate section for ppl who really want to discuss these issues instead of having these topics in ramblings and getting them whored up

The meaningful topics are few and far between, so IMO, not worth a new forum.

And they do get whored up a bit, but the people who are actually discussing them usually come back to the topic at hand.

i think its a good idea, the only reason those threads get whored to begin with is because the are in ramblings. but whatever i dont usually go into those threads because i dont feel i should have to win anyone over with my views and morals.

Off-topic.net is probably the most versitle forum on the net. Its the biggest one out there. It has so many varieties of discussion that its broken into those varieties...but ofcourse that site is dedicated as a forum for whatever....ours is dedicated mainly to cars...im still undecided on this idea...

I think it would be a great idea, given its own section. If you don't like whats being discussed? Than don't come in the section. I'd like to nominate myself as a moderator if you do go through with it. :)

I think ramblings is fine for that. I might be the only one, but I don't even look in individual forums, I just press view active threads or whatever that says when you come in from the main page on the board.

I think we need a seperate job forum where people can post jobs that they hear about and other people are able to search through jobs and what not.. imo
