I'd definitely get this IS500 instead of the G35. Competition will definitely be stiff between this car, the gt-r, and the new m3.

im confused.. why is the 400hp out of this engine better than the 400hp the new M3 will put out??.. enough so that it will "put the m3 away in a straight line" ::confused::

GT-R and M3 performance will not even be on the same level, tho. And neither will this IS500. From Japan, I'm expecting only the to-be-released NSX to be a worthy competitor.

The E46 M3 already hits 0-60 in less than 5 secs, and the new 4.0L V8 will be making around 400hp as well. Dont know how whoever wrote the article calculated the IS500 would smoke the new M3(seeing how there is no official information on either vehicle anyways)

Oh wow, that has my undivided attention. Geez my pants got tight for some reason. I knew it was just a matter of time before that happened, guess Toyota saw how sucessful the coupe/sedan team was and finally wants to give it a shot.
