i know this might not be the right section, BUT it is a truck(suv) and i figure this section could use a new thread (tired of looking at the same ones in here)
On to my problem, iam the proud new owner of a 1984 Blazer S10 4x4 and my transmission (4spd auto) wont come out of 1st gear. It will rev high and I can only drive about 20-25mph. Ive already changed the filter and add new ATF.
Wondering if anyone was any ideas or if you have experienced this before. I have read on some other forums that it might be the Throttle Valve or Modulator (sp?), and I plan on checking on those. seeing if anyone here has any ideas...
