thanks for the replies guys. Just out of curiosity for those who own 240sx's on this forum, what on earth is it? In aus and japan we have the s13, s14, s15 etc, but on some of ur pics, the 240sx looks nothing like any of our cars.

welcom, badass S15
dwn here the 240sx (S13s and S14s) are jus downgraded silvia's.
changed bodystyles coupe and hatches. diff. engines ka-t's and sr20s (usually swapped)
the front end's of the S14 ive noticed resembled the Sivia's, but the rear end is totally diff. design..

another quick question. It seems most of the ppl on this forum drive civics or hondas. Is there like a big honda scene in the US or something? Here in australia the major cars that get done up are Wrx's, silvias, evo's etc. Mostly turbos. Although a lot of honda's get sold here, from the eg, ek etc... there's not a big honda scene here. The most popular honda sports car here is the integra type r, (which is probably equivalent to ur Acura RSX) but even then few are sold or modded. Just curious as to why they (civics) are so popular over there.

the s15 isn't really different to the 240sx which i have realised is ur version of the silvia with a KA or CA engine. The handling is very similar if not identical. THe s15 just has a 6 speed gearbox but other than that everything is essentially the same as the s14 except the body of course. So if you like the way the 240sx, the s15 is no different

yeh this site is honda dominated mainly....
most ppl on here think hondas and fwd > every other car and pwr train.
and if your not "jdm" you get flamed and labled ric0r. (most of the time)
but there are alot of other tuners our here, jus on this site and mainly in houston it seems as if everyones afriad to stray of the mainland and drift away from the honda bandwagon.....
me personally, im not a honda fan at all.

The S15 is different in alot of ways to the USDM S14's.
Different chassis, different drivetrain completely, and the S15 has much larger brakes.
Our S14's are the same as your imports with a few differences. Drivetrain being one, you have SR's we have KA's. Front bumper and rear bumper vary slightly, moreso on the optional aero model Silvias.
Our S13's all have the pop-ups (180SX = USDM Hatch / "Onevia" = USDM Coupe) and come with KA's.
We didn't get the CA, and neither did anyone but Japan and Europe. The imports in OZ, and NZ are all Japanese model 180SX's.

The S14 models are the most similar of the Silvias. The picture of the 1st car is an S14 late model, not an S15 as many people misunderstand it as. The rear end is completely the same as the Japanese Silvias on the S14 and S13 barring the aero models.
The second car has an S15 front end.
