Finally got a chance to snap some pics with the 33's and fender trimming... Using an angle-grinder I hacked 4" off the front and a little over 3" from the rear. The fronts were a straight cut-off job, but the rear required cutting 3" slots in the fender and hammering the tabs back into the wheelwell with a rather substantial mallet. This was required due to the pinch-seams that are located fairly close to the edge of the stock fender lip, and cutting them off would allow all the road debris to enter into the cabin and cargo box. So far, no issues... just need some more lift to make it a little more usable offroad  Probably going to go with ZJ lift coils in the front and some S10 bastard packs w/ shackles out back.

Pics were taken after a brief, light playing-in-the-mud session... I annihilated my front driveshaft a couple weeks ago so I was taking it easy as I am only 2wd at the moment.. There WAS more mud, but it rained and some of it got washed off. Anyhow, on to the pics -

It looks like the rear is sagging a lot in this pic, but that's due mainly to the angled driveway and the difference in fender lip height. However, there is some sag due to the as-close-to-fullsize-as-will-fit 31" spare in the back, as well as the AAL lift out back, which has begun to sag.

Yeah, the fronts got chewed the hell up the first week and a half - I had mad-crazy death-wobble due to insanely wallowed out tie-rod ends. The rear's are still great, IIRC they're sitting around 16/32's out of a possible 19. Probably going to replace the fronts soon and rotate them to the back for more meat on the main drive wheels.

sweet, I might get a '97 Wranger with 3" suspension lift, 3" body lift and 35" tires, detroit locker in the rear axle, heavy duty tranny, winch... I can't wait!!! NICE RIDE!!!

For the love of God please do NOT get a body-lift... most retarded way to get lift; crazy-stress on the body, fugly gap, and it totally defeats the purpose of a lift - to get the truck up higher so you can clear obstacles and terrain, not just bigger tires.

I'd highly recommend either Rubicon Express (their kits are always a little higher than advertised, my 3.5" is actually 4.7 :thumb:) or Full-Traction - heard both things for both, and I love my RE.

Thanks to everyone else for the comments, more pics to come soon hopefully once I get the rear levelled out and a chance to really play in the mud instead of this pansy 2wd crap
