mostly any grocery store.... or some clothing store..... if that doesnt work start suckin some toes lol j/k

kroger, heb, foodtown, many cafe's, restaurants, i know there are many grocery stores and food related places that hire at 16. doesnt even have to be those, gamestop and bestbuy if your lucky. the possibilities are there, you just need to go out and find em yourself man.

places like gamestop and gamecrazy hire at 18 and i dont know why

Fast food pays every two weeks and holds first week pay
Grocery pays every week and doesn't hold first week pay.

be a bagger at some rich neighborhood. get good tips like crazy if you do a good job and are nice. and if you work enough, customer recognize you and request you to bag their stuff and they leave nice tips. i average 4-10 dollar in tips a day working 4 hours shifts. that was pretty damn good for me for a first job i was happy =) so if you are 16 that is a nice start for you.

I think its cause some games or movies are rated M for mature o R for restricted, thats the only reason i can think they hire till 18

Its a legal thing..if they arn't 18 years old, and they get caught stealing something, they cant be sued or something like that...

but best buy is 18...if i remember...

My friend is 16 and he got an internship at Joe Myers Toyota and currently works for Discount Tires. I would work at these places also, but my family owns shops already.

Word. I'm currently working at Discount Tires. Thanks to my auto tech program in school, I got an internship at Joe Myers Toyota starting this summer. Discount Tires pays good and a great job if you like to work with cars, but you're limited on what you learn because all they do is tires and wheels. It's good experience though.

might be depending on the store or just the NW. My friends got a job at the one on Grant and North Eldridge. :dunno:

Lol, my first job was a busboy at a local cafe, I was 15. Try working at a skating rink, its sorta fun. A good summer job to start with.
